The 22 year old male driver of a Hyundai Excel involved in a crash on Upper California Gully Road will proceed to court for allegedly driving while disqualified.
Two drivers were transported to hospital after the crash on Wednesday.
Police say a Toyota Ute and a Hyundai Excel crashed on Wednesday while the Ute was completing a u-turn.
The 62 year old driver of the Ute has been issued with a ticket for making an unsafe u-turn.
The 22 year old driver of the Hyundai Excel was taken to hospital from the scene for blood testing.
The driver of the Toyota Ute was taken to hospital in Melbourne.
Update, 10am:
Police are investigating a two car crash on Upper California Gully Road on Wednesday morning.
Police say two men were transported to hospital after a white Hyundai Excel and a while Toyota Ute crashed.
Police have asked anyone who may have seen the crash to contact Crime Stopper on 1800 333 000 or the Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300.
Update, 8am:
Both lanes of the Upper California Gully Road have been reopened to traffic following the crash.
A white Hyundai Excel and a white Toyota Ute were involved in the crash.
The crash took place at approximately 6.55am on Upper California Gully Road near its intersection with Taylor Street.

One lane of Upper California Gully Road is closed but traffic is being let through after a crash on Wednesday morning.
The lane is closed on Upper California Gully road near its intersection with Taylor Street.
A tow truck is currently on the scene.
7.10am:
A man in his 20s was taken by road ambulance to hospital on Wednesday morning in a serious but stable condition.
Paramedics were called to the scene of a multi-car crash on Upper California Gully Road at about 6.55am on Wednesday.
The man in his 20s suffered injuries to his head and his chest.
A man in his 50s is being assessed at the scene with minor shoulder injuries.
