Richard Brydon discovered his home had been covered in graffiti on August 7.
After all the effort he put in, tiling, landscaping, and fencing the home himself, he is disheartened to have his work spoilt.
“You spend so much time and effort working on a house, constructing a house trying to do the best job you can, and people do that,” Mr Brydon said.
“It’s just disappointing that such a small group of delinquents can have such a big impact on everyone in the area.”
He has no idea why is home was targeted, other than being empty at the time.
Police said an unknown offender or offenders have used yellow and black paint to spray on the exterior, windows, roller door and fly screen door, of the Bright Street address.
The incident occurred between 5pm on August 6 and 6pm on August 7.
A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Police believe they may have identified one offender, but have asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
