LEITCHVILLE-GUNBOWER spearhead Matt Perri has topped the Heathcote District league goalkicking for the second year in a row.

Despite missing three games due to a hamstring injury, Perri led the league goalkicking with 68.

Perri’s biggest bags were two 11-goal hauls against Heathcote in round three and against Mount Pleasant in round 15.

Second on the goalkicking was Mount Pleasant recruit Ben Weightman (60), followed by Perri’s Bombers’ team-mate Jake Vandongen (50).
