Orchestra Victoria will host a 17 classical music concerts, education programs and pop-up performances for the festival and the On the mOVe! education program from August 11 to 18.
The week will finish with full orchestra performance at Ulumbarra Theatre on Saturday, August 18, at 8pm.
The closing concert will feature the orchestra performing Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan-Williams, The Isle of the Dead Op.29 by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Violin Concerto in E by Felix Mendelssohn.
Violin Concerto in E will include special guest violinist and 10-year old Australian child prodigy, Christian Li.
More than 15 chamber concerts will fill venues in Elmore, Goornong, Heathcote, Mia Mia, Eaglehawk, Long Gully and central Bendigo.
Venues include the Bendigo Art Gallery, Star Cinema and the underground Crib Room at Central Deborah Gold Mine.
