TWO Bendigo Pioneer players have earned invites to the AFL’s State Combine to be held later this year.
Pioneers’ duo captain Jacob Atley and Zane Keighran were this week invited to test at the Combine ahead of the National Draft in November.
Leitchville-Gunbower’s Marty Hore, also a former Bendigo Pioneer, is among eight VFL-listed players who will also show their wares at the State Combine.
Hore is playing VFL with Collingwood.
The names have also been released for the Rookie Me Combine, which features South Bendigo vice-captain Kieran Stachan.
Ruckman Strachan is on Port Melbourne’s VFL-list, but his season came to an end with a broken ankle last month.
