The Tigers won their third game in a row with a 22-point victory over Charlton on Saturday that now has what had one stage been a 0-4 record back on an even keel at 7-7.
Both teams kicked well for goal in a game they combined for 24.8 as the surging Tigers won 14.3 (87) to 10.5 (65) at Sea Lake.
The Navies raced out to a 26-point advantage as they led 5.2 to 1.0 at quarter-time.
However, over the last three quarters the Tigers added 13 goals to five to secure the victory.
The Tigers spread the load inside 50, which included Nathan Wight (three), Kyle Brasser (two), Simon Weekley (two) and Billy McInnes (two) all kicking multiple goals.

Lionel Ogden and star ruckman Ryan O’Sullivan were best for the Tigers.
Daniel Thiesz bagged five goals to be one of the best players for Charlton, while fellow veterans Anthony Judd (two goals) and Aaron Walklate also played well.
• Following a dramatic build-up to the game in which it had been stripped of 12 premiership points 24 hours earlier for a player points breach earlier in the season, Birchip-Watchem dominated in a 76-point away win over St Arnaud.
The Bulls opened a 35-point lead at quarter-time on the way to prevailing 19.18 (132) to 8.8 (56) – a result that cost St Arnaud its position in the top four.
Star forward Stephen Paulke was again a key to the Bulls’ victory with another strong performance inside 50, bagging seven goals.
Paulke now has 74 goals for the season, with Saturday the fifth time in his past six matches he has booted at least five.
Another of the Bulls’ X-factors, Nathan Gordon, was also a handful for the Saints as he slotted five goals.
Coach Lochlan Sirett in the ruck and the classy Dale Hinkley led the best players for the Bulls, who despite losing their 12 premiership points are still guaranteed the double chance.
The Saints kicked five of their eight goals in the final quarter, with teenager Jack Tillig, Conlan Gunn and Matthew Goode named their best three.
Another of the club’s youngsters in Jesse Reyne with two was the Saints’ only multiple goalkicker.
• Newly-installed ladder-leader Wycheproof-Narraport defeated Wedderburn for the 10th time in a row.
The Demons led at every change in their 14.12 (96) to 12.4 (76) win at Wedderburn.
Ricky Allan (four), Daniel Bibby (three) and Ben Brennan (three) combined for 10 goals for the Demons, while in his first game in almost three months, Corey Jones chipped in with two.
The best players for the Demons were headed by the consistent George Turner, Bibby and Allan.
The Redbacks’ score of 12.4 featured 6.2 in both the first and second halves, with Joseph Lockhart and Robert Tonkin (two goals) their best.
Redbacks’ full-forward Sam Barnes kicked five goals.
• Donald took a step closer to a return to the finals with a 54-point victory over Boort.
The Royal Blues won 14.13 (97) to 6.7 (43) at Boort and with two rounds left are six points inside the top four.
Back in the side after missing last week, Donald forward Seamus Young snared five goals, while Davin Ferreira kicked two and was the Royal Blues’ best.
Forward Rohan Nolan kicked four of Boort’s six goals. Key big man Richard Tibbett played well to be the Magpies’ standout.
