One woman in her 60s was trapped in the car with lower body injuries, with CFA crews forced to free her
The crash occurred about 9.45am.
Another man in his 60s has critical leg, head and chest injuries.
An air ambulance is en route to the scene.
It is believed there were two cars involved in the collision, although it is understood the person in the other car has escaped injury.
The Major Collision Investigation has been notified of the incident.
