Hamelin Street in White Hills will be closed from Wednesday July 18 to Tuesday July 24, for work to continue on the Napier Street upgrade.

Works are part of a two year upgrade of the street, which is in its second stage.
VicRoads expect to complete the first phase of Stage 2 during August.

Formerly part of the Midland Highway, Napier Street has experienced heavy traffic.
When completed the road will feature an additional traffic lane, a bicycle lane and a raised central median, as well as improved pedestrian and traffic signals.
Hamelin Street will be closed on the Botanic Gardens side of Napier Street.
Detours will be in place along Bosquet Street and Lyons Street during the works.
The street will reopen on Wednesday July 25.
