Auto Model Show
The first Castlemaine Auto Model Show will be held over two days and has a specialist automotive theme which will recognise Castlemaine’s reputation as the Street Rod capital of Australia.
If you are interested in experiencing something new but are not entirely sure of what to expect, auto model’s are scale impressions of vehicles up to half the size.
The models may be from different vehicle types including customs, classics, speedway and drag racing, military, trucks and more.
To enter, these particular models must be built fully or partially by the entrant.
There is also a raffle with prizes and every entrant gets a complimentary ticket.

School holiday fun
There is still an opportunity to take the family out to free activities before the holidays are over.
Suitable for all ages, this fun day will include games, toys and craft supplies to take home.
Adults can enjoy a cup of coffee, browse through some unique market stalls and meet new community friends.
Where: LQ Market, Lowndes Street, Bendigo.
When: Saturday, July 14, 10.30am – 11.30am.
Clothed figure drawing
Want to try your hand at being an artist? Looking for a new hobby? Bendigo Artists Inc along with the Bendigo Art Gallery are offering free drawing sessions.
Both adults and children are encouraged to take part in these sessions which will be held throughout the day.
Artists will also be available to help guide those taking part.
No charcoal or pastel.
Where: Bendigo Art Gallery, 42 View Street.
When: Saturday, July 14, sessions available from 1pm - 4pm.
Tracing your family history
Have you considered researching your family history? Or have you started but are unsure how to continue?
Head along to a session for beginners (or those wanting to explore their options) to see what other resources the local library has to help you explore your family history.

Family fun day
This free event is a pefect day out for children of all ages and their parents. There will be indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting).
These activities include: face painting, helium balloons, live entertainment, animal farm and reptiles, story corner, jumping castle, arts and crafts, popcorn, and much more.
Food will also be available to purchase.

Trading table fundraiser
Expecting to do some shopping on Thursday? Make sure you stop by the St John of God Hospital Auxiliary trading table to pick up some goodies.
