Sherri Parry and Alister Turrill will set off on the Blues Trams at 2pm this Saturday.
Parry, 20, has played a number of shows around central Victorian since taking up music at age 12.
Queenscliff product Turrill is a well-known personality in the Bendigo blues scene having performed at the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival a number of times.
This weekend’s Blues Tram is one of two blues events with the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival hosting its Winter Showcase being held on Sunday at the Golden Vine Hotel from noon to 8pm.
Parry and Turrill will both feature at Sunday’s Winter Showcase with Parry’s band Groove Juice playing on the Lounge Stage at 5pm followed by Turrill at 6pm.
The Blues Tram sets off from Central Deborah Goldmine at 2pm, Saturday. It returns at 4.15pm. Tickets are $35 and available from the Bendigo Visitor Centre.
