As winter took its toll outside, many children opted to stay warm inside, with activities such as movies and building robots at the Goldfields Library Corporation, Ninja Warrior experience at The Bendigo Club, making ceramic houses, badges and slime; and caring for pet hermit crabs.
Families also participated in many of the region's NAIDOC Week events with celebrations being held over July 8 – 15.
