The Reds had four players contribute goals in a 5-1 victory at Truscott Reserve on Sunday.
Siobhan Thompson led the way with a double, while skipper Nicole Ford, Pearl Stevens and Livinia Douglass scored one apiece.
For Eaglehawk, Carnie Edlin was the sole goal scorer; her contribution at the 12 minute mark tied the scores at 1-1 after Thompson posted the first of her two goals in the 10th minute.
The Reds were back in front minutes later when Douglass found the back of the net.
It was mostly one way traffic from there, with the Reds leading 3-1 at half time and 5-1 at full time.
Their win reversed an earlier season 6-0 loss to Eaglehawk in round two, which was highlighted by a four-goal performance from Hawks skipper Chloe Parker.
Meanwhile, second-placed Colts United put some space between itself and Shepparton South directly below it on the ladder with a 6-3 win against Swan Hill at Strathfieldsaye Recreation Reserve.
Mikaela Warne was the star for Colts with four goals, while Kara Lierich scored twice for the Swans.
Shepparton South could only manage a 0-0 draw with Epsom.
Strathdale moved to within one point of fourth-placed Epsom with a 3-0 away win against Moama-Echuca Border Raiders.
At Shadforth No. 1, Golden City defeated visiting Tatura 2-1.
Letesha Bawden scored two goals for the Rams, who won for only the second time this season.
Their previous win was also against Tatura.
