Holiday Art
This holiday workshop aims to bring some light to the cold, winter darkness.
Children will start the workshop in the older gallery rooms and look at a range of artworks which tell different family stories.
Children can then create a story using collage techniques and when completed, the piece will be turned into a lantern. Each lantern will be lit up with a battery candle. Suitable for ages 4 to 14 years.
Bookings are essential. Payment must be made at time of booking. No refunds. Phone 54346088.

Act for Birds
BirdLife Castlemaine is excited to celebrate their first event as an official BirdLife branch.
This event is a family-friendly and all about the environment, law and bird conservation.
The afternoon will be a great opportunity for nature lovers to meet one another and talk about the birds you love.
Lunch and cake provided (both including vegan and gluten-free options).

Sing Joyfully
An intimate performance, showcasing the talent of eight singers from Polyphonic Voices.
The program presents a range of music by masters Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, alongside works from choral master, Ola Gjeilo.
The program will run for approximately 60 minutes.
Entry is by donation and everyone is welcome. Visit the website and join the mailing list to stay in touch with the choir.

Fire Safe Kids
These school holidays, teach children how to be fire safe at this event.
Join volunteers from local CFA and participate in different activities and giveaways. Children will also get to meet Captain Koala himself. Suitable for children aged 4-8 years old.

Girgarre Market
With a theme of "Make it, Bake it, Grow it," this market showcases a variety of seasonal produce, home made and locally grown products in the heart of country life.
Over 90 stalls offering an array of locally handmade crafts, including fresh orange juice, free tea and coffee with cake, Thai food and icecreams.

Fundraising Dinner
You are invited to a relaxed dinner at the Bendigo Stadium for a fundraising event.
Have a meal and raise money in the company of your relatives.
Thirty per cent of takings from all meals will be donated to the Victory Netball Club for new uniforms, so head out, have fun and head home with no pressure to buy excess items.
