The day’s activities have been inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
Wildlife displays, bush tucker tasting, facepainting and craft and clay activities are among what will be on offer from the 20 or so organisations involved.

A performance from an Indigenous Hip Hop group also looks set to be a highlight.
John Bonas is co-manager of Communities for Children, which with Bendigo and District Aboriginal Cooperative is organising the day.
The day is a celebration of Indigenous culture, in fitting with the broader theme of NAIDOC, he said.
He loves to see children and families engaging with activities, and learning more about Indigenous culture.
“This is about involving children in NAIDOC week and celebrating the Aboriginal cultures in our community, and enabling children to experience Aboriginal cultures and learn more about their culture,” he said.
“The joy of the children being involved in the activities on the day is the real highlight.”
Run in partnership by around 12 agencies, NAIDOC Children’s Day will feature activities from approximately 20 organisations.
