Nine people have died after an oil tanker crashed and burst into flames on a bridge in the Nigerian city of Lagos.

Local emergency authorities say a child is among the dead and that 45 cars were also burned in Thursday's explosion.
A spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Bisi Kazeem, said the crash happened around Otedola bridge on the section of the road heading out of Lagos.
He said the cause of the accident was brake failure.
Kazeem added that the tanker, five buses, two trucks and a tricycle were also burnt out.
Local television footage shows emergency responders walking among the charred vehicles, some of them still burning inside.
Lagos is Africa's largest city, with a population of more than 21 million people. Nigeria is one of Africa's top oil producers.
