The talented quartet of Lucy Membrey, Blaire Johnson, Zoe Christie and Latisha Painter have all recently won national titles.
Membrey took out the level six individual women’s title at the Australian Aerobics Championships at the Bendigo Stadium, while she also teamed with Johnson to win the level six women’s pairs.
Christie is Australia’s new under-11 tumbling champion and Painter the senior international tumbling champion.
Painter was also recognised for her achievement of representing Victoria for 10 consecutive years.
Also at the Australian Aerobics Championships Ruby Conti-Moore earned two silver medals in international age one trio and junior aerodance, while Amelia Cartledge-Moore scored a personal best in her division.
Palmer’s Gym also had a strong contingent compete at the Australian Gymnastics Championships held at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena.
Those who had top-five finishes were:
Under-13 men’s tumbling – Harry Johnson (4th), Nick Caruso (5th).
Under-15 men’s tumbling – Matt Edward (5th).
Under-17 women’s tumbling – Emily Kent (5th).
Palmer’s Gym Bendigo now has its sights set on the National Clubs Carnival on the Gold Coast in September.
