Apricots and Pears fought out an absorbing contest over five innings, with Jimmy collecting four hits for apricots. Josh matched that effort for Pears.
Lily, Will and Isander gave great support for Pears and their efforts were matched for Apricots by Deon, Mason and Maddie. The offence of both sides was dominant and Nathan, Hagan and Zac all made valuable contributions for their team.
With the game getting away from them, Apricots came back strongly in the last couple of innings with Axel, Owen, Darcy, Hayden and Ben all collecting hits.
Pears’ defence turned the game, with Leander and Ted giving outstanding efforts for their team.
The under-13 game was dominated by the offence of Rebels, with Jordan leading the way with two doubles.
He was well supported by Haylee, Hudson, Lily, Alec, Nara and Josh who had two singles each. Best with the bat for FEDS were Ryan, Ryan M, Lochie, Aleric, Derek and Zac who all had one hit each.
