Bendigo City trailed Moreland City 1-0 at half-time, but Poung Shu Thay turned the game when he found the back of the net twice.
Bendigo City hung on to win 2-1 and retained 14th place on the ladder – one spot clear of Moreland City.
The Bendigo City under-18s were held to a 0-0 draw by Moreland City at Epsom-Huntly Recreation Reserve.
The visitors had the better of the remaining matches.
Shubham Rana scored in Bendigo City under-16s 2-1 defeat to Moreland City.
In the under-15s, Bendigo City lost 3-2. Kwa La Christ and Hamish Fisher scored for the home side.
A brace from Ryan Kalms was the highlight of Bendigo’s 4-2 defeat in the under-13s.
