The women had to work mighty hard to beat Sydney Uni and secure their 12th-straight win, while the men had a more comfortable night at the office against Mt Gambier.
The women trailed by 11 points midway through the third quarter before storming home to win 87-81.
It was the Braves’ big four who did the damage.
Nadeen Payne led the charge with 29 points, while Kelly Wilson had 17 points and 14 assists and Ash Karaitiana added 12 points.
Fan favourite Gabe Richards arguably had the biggest impact. Richards came off the bench to spark the Braves with 17 points on 8-13 shooting and seven rebounds.
The men gave Taylor Bell a night to remember in his 350th game for the club.
In one of the team’s best defensive efforts of the season, the Braves defeated Mt Gambier 68-53.
Despite the absence of Chris Hogan, the Braves took control of the game early and never let the Pioneers get any momentum.
They extended their 10-point half-time lead to 18 by three quarter-time before cruising through the final quarter.
Jeremy Kendle led the Braves with 24 points and fellow import Ray Turned added 19 points and 12 rebounds.
