Kallen Geary, Jack Shanahan, Shaun Dwyer and Kellan Smith will all come into the mix at the selection table.
“Jack Shanahan played reserves at the weekend and got best on ground,’’ Storm coach Troy Coates said.
“He looked really good and got through the game well.
“Kellan Smith had work commitments, so he’ll come back in this week and Shaun Dwyer will be available as well. He only had a slight hamstring problem.
“We’re hoping Kal Geary will be right, but we’ll have to wait and see how he gets through training.”
Geary injured his shoulder against South Bendigo 10 days ago, but there was no structural damage.
The Storm would dearly love to have him play in a game where the winner will grab a handy four point advantage at the top of the ladder.
Eaglehawk coach Josh Bowe and impressive young midfielder Jack Fallon both missed the Hawks’ win over Maryborough last Saturday.
Bowe was tight-lipped about potential changes for the Borough this week.
“We’ll see how things go at training this week,’’ a coy Bowe said.
Eaglehawk has won three of the past four encounters with Strathfieldsaye, but the Storm won the match that mattered most – last year’s grand final.
Tannery Lane hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Eaglehawk.
The Storm have won the past six games against the Hawks at home by margins of 57, 35, 39, 30, 32 and 51 points.
Eaglehawk’s last victory at the ground was round four, 2011.
Golden Square hosts Sandhurst in the other big game this weekend.
The Dogs are hopeful Jayden Burke (finger) will replace fellow key forward Travis Baird (shoulder).
Sandhurst will regain full-forward Daniel Connors from suspension.
