POLICE are investigating after two vehicles were found submerged in the Loddon River near Serpentine at the weekend.

Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe two cars were stolen from a recreational depot on Southey Street, in Inglewood, sometime from 2am - 3am on Saturday.
Tools and equipment were stolen from a white Holden Colorado utility and a white Isuzu Dmax utility.
Both vehicles were then found submerged in the Loddon River at the Bridgewater-Serpentine Road in Serpentine about 11am.
The incident came after two vehicles parked in Hospital Street, Inglewood, had their windows smashed and property stolen sometime between 11pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday.
Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe the two incidents are linked and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that might have seen any suspicious activity in the Inglewood area.
