It says a lot about the high standards Strathfieldsaye sets when an 88-point win is seen as an average performance.

The Storm outclassed Kangaroo Flat 16.18 (114) to 3.8 (26) at Dower Park on Saturday, but coach Troy Coates wasn't overly pleased with the way his side played.
"Kangaroo Flat competed really well and we weren't overly happy with the way we played,'' Coates said.
"We didn't move the ball as well as we have in previous weeks and we seemed a bit flat.
"We'd been playing some really good footy the past month and we didn't have the run that we had in previous weeks. You have days like that sometimes.
"To win the game by 90-odd points and not get any injuries.... we'll take it and look forward to next week (against Eaglehawk)."
While the Storm didn't move the ball with the same freedom it had in previous matches, the defensive side of their game was still strong.
Kangaroo Flat didn't kick its first goal of the game until the third quarter.
Youngster Lachy Ratcliffe dominated across half-back for the Storm, with his intercept marking a highlight.
Jake Moorhead and Sam Heavyside controlled the midfield for the Storm, while Bryce Curnow and Hugh Robertson were a constant threat inside forward 50.
With spearhead Lachlan Sharp sidelined through injury, Coates rotated his forwards heavily and the move paid dividends.
"Sometimes Bryce played deep and Hugh was up the ground and at other times Hugh played as a deep forward,'' Coates said. "With Sharpy out we wanted to rotate players through the forward line."
After conceding 207 points to Eaglehawk the previous week, the Roos could take positives out of their improved defensive effort.
No prize for guessing who Kangaroo Flat’s best player was. Liam Collins once again got the nod after another fine four-quarter effort.
Key defender Dane Spear battled hard against the odds, ruckman Nick Lang was the best big man on the ground, while midfielder Jonathan Lanyon is starting to get back to his best form after an injury interrupted season.
