Meanwhile, the Pioneers have their fourth draftee for the year making their AFL debut on Friday night when Jarrod Brander plays his first game for the West Coast Eagles against the Sydney Swans at the SCG.
Brander, 19, was the first player picked by the Eagles at last year’s National Draft when selected at No.13.
“He has got high work rate, a big tank, clean on the ground as well and he is 195cm – we don’t want to pump him up too much, but he is right to go,” Eagles coach Adam Simpson said during the week.
