Dreamtime at the Marshes
This month marks the end of the four-year Kerang Priority Wetlands project, run by the North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and funded by the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
To celebrate the end of the project, the North Central CMA and Barapa Barapa Traditional Owners are hosting a Dreamtime at the Marshes event.
Listen to Dreamtime stories, experience traditional dance and music, visit the revegetation site and enjoy the kid’s art activities, all for free.

Children’s Art Program
Enrol your child in a contemporary art program to help them learn some tricks for making a collage of a bee.
Children in Foundation to Year 3 (aged 5-8) are welcome to participate.
The projects are inspired by artists and will start by looking at Eric Carle’s legendary children’s illustrations.
$20 per class/$10 for concession. Limited to 15 participants, book now on 5431 0930.

The Incredibles 2 Fundraiser
The “Incredible” Sebastian Bellaggia and his family are fundraising for a Smartpups Autism Assitance Mobility Dog.
The movie selected for this event is The Incredibles 2 and everyone is welcome to attend this event and raffle.
$20 movie ticket (per person), $30 movie ticket with small drink and small popcorn (per person).

Bush Poets
Bendigo and Central Goldfields Bush Poets present their free concert this weekend.
An afternoon of Australian entertainment, lots of poets, fun and music.
Walk up bush poets and songsters are made most welcome in a supportive atmosphere.

Peace and Love
Enjoy a concert dedicated to peace and love, with talent from the world renowned “Peace Formula Guru” Sankarshan Das.
Das is a spiritual teacher, singer-songwriter, visionary musically rooted in folk/acoustic music. He has also performed at Houston’s legendary folk music venue, Sand Mountain.

Rushworth Big Day Out
Bring a friend (or two) to this free event, promoting emotional wellness and wellbeing.

Yarn-bombed tram
Take a colourful trip on the first tram to be yarn-bombed, Bendigo Tramways 302 tram.
Every winter the tram runs through Bendigo’s streets and has now become a well deserved tourist attraction.
The yarn-bombers are celebrating their new found “celebrity” status and this year have covered more than six metres of the tram on both sides.

Saturday Night Fever
It’s time to enjoy another toe-tapping dance at the Spring Gully Hall.
Enjoy music by Bitz’N’Pieces dance band, a good program and a home cooked supper. There is also a raffle and prizes.

Stairway to Heaven
Fill your Saturday evening with the sounds of music, sung by the talented Bendigo Chamber Choir.
The concert will feature works by Mozart, Brahms, Elgar and Tavener.
The choir will be joined by the Bendigo chamber Orchestra and pianist John Tungyep.

Kindergarten Open Afternoon
The Goldfields Family Centre will host an open afternoon next week to promote their kindergarten program.
Families are encouraged to come along, see the facilities and chat to our teachers and educators about the kindergarten program on offer.
The Goldfields Family Centre is a one-stop-shop for families living in the Central Goldfields Shire.
It provides services including maternal and child health, immunisation, new parents program, child care, family day care, playgroups and three and four-year old kindergarten.
