Winds with peak gusts of up to 110 km/h are forecast to hit parts of central Victoria on Thursday, prompting the Bureau of Meteorology to issue a severe weather warning.

The northwesterly winds, averaging 60 to 70 km/h, are expected to develop in western parts of the state on Thursday afternoon, before extending into central parts in the evening.
Daylesford is among the localities in the warning area.
The State Emergency Service advises that people move vehicles under cover or away from trees; secure or put away loose items; and keep clear of fallen power lines.
Sheep graziers in the Central and North Central forecast districts are also warned of conditions that could lead to sheep and lamb losses, due to the winds, showers, isolated thunderstorms and cold temperatures.
