We all make waste, and we can all do more to reduce it, is the group’s message. So, they’re doing something about it.

The sustainability group will be watching film Bag It as a lead up to a discussion on how the city can reduce its waste, and its impact on the environment, said vice-president Chris Corr.
The movie follows a normal American man, Jeb Berrier, as he gives up plastic, and is inspired to explore society’s dependence on it.
“We’re looking to engage with more people in our community to help reduce our waste and our cost to our community,” Mr Corr said.
“The film Bag It is intended to be a thought starter and a motivator for the discussion.”
