The Hawks showed their class in the 32.15 (207) to 6.4 (40) victory.
“It was one of those games where it was really hard to pick our best players,’’ Eaglehawk coach Josh Bowe said.
“We didn’t have a bad player and we got contributions across the board.”
Ben McPhee continued his brilliant form for the Borough, while Brodie Collins, Jack Fallon and Riley Saunders ran riot through the middle of the ground.
The Hawks had 13 individual goal kickers, led by full-forward Matt Gretgrix who bagged seven goals in his first game back from injury.
“It was good to see Gerta (Gretgrix) back and his movement was really good,’’ Bowe said.
“Knotty (Shaun Knott) kicked three goals and it was good to see him get some reward for all the hard work he does.”
The Hawks will have another easy kill next week against Maryborough before facing Strathfieldsaye.
“The games against the bottom teams you just want to get through without injuries and we did that,’’ Bowe said.
For the Roos, it was the usual suspects – Nick Lang and Liam Collins – at the top of their best players.
Cam Rinaldi kicked three of his side’s six goals.
Unfortunately for Kangaroo Flat it doesn’t get any easier next week. The Roos are at home to a rampant Strathfieldsaye.
