In the most one-sided game of the season so far, the Mean Machine were 58-goal winners, prevailing 76-18 at Serpentine, continuing a season in which they are the only team yet to lose a game.
The Mean Machine took top spot from Mitiamo, which had the bye and has another week off next Saturday with Inglewood not having an A-grade side.
• In a low-scoring game where the two sides combined for just 50 goals, Pyramid Hill was victorious against Maiden Gully YCW.
It was a much-needed victory for the reigning premier Bulldogs, who ended a run of four losses in a row with the 28-22 result that elevated them from sixth to fourth.
For the sliding Eagles, it was their fourth defeat in a row, costing them their position in the top five.
• Calivil United continued to build momentum with a third win in a row at the expense of Newbridge.
The Demons produced another strong defensive performance to defeat the Maroons 49-32 at Newbridge.
