EARLIER: Albert, a domestic short haired cat has gone missing from Bush’s Produce in Williamson Street.
He was last seen at the side entrance of the store at 12:30pm on Tuesday.
Leonie Crawford from Bush’s Produce said Albert had been in the store for 12 months.
“Last week we were training Albert under supervision so we could let him out of the store,” Leonie said.
“We were progressively allowing him to go outside and he was doing well.
“He was being closely monitored to ensure he didn’t run out onto the road.”
Albert is wearing a purple collar with a name tag reading ‘Albert Rosco Bush’ and has also been microchipped.
“We all miss him so much and just want him back,” Leonie said.
“Wherever he is we just hope that that he is warm and being fed.
