RELATED – STRINGER’S GRAND FOOTY JOURNEY
ESSENDON’S Jake Stringer will become the latest Bendigo Pioneer draftee to play 100 AFL games when he reaches the milestone at the MCG on Saturday night.
Stringer will notch his 100th game in the Bombers’ Dreamtime at the ’G clash against Richmond.
Stringer played his first 89 games with the Western Bulldogs, who selected him with pick No.5 at the 2012 National Draft.
Stringer spent five seasons with the Bulldogs, which included playing in the club’s drought-breaking premiership in 2016 and earning All-Australian selection in 2015.
The 24-year-old was traded to Essendon at the end of last season.
He has kicked 174 goals in his AFL career so far.
