Synchronicity
Local amateur theatre group Synchronicity have worked hard to stage comedy Australia Day.
This politically-incorrect farce follows residents from a small town as they plan their next Australia Day celebration and the debacles and mayhem that ensue on the day.
Featuring some very recognisable characters that express attitudes we have all cringed at, Australia Day questions whether those attitudes still hold.

Winter Arts Festival
An international line up is the main attraction at this year’s Woodend Winter Arts Festival.
The weekend showcases many talents, including two of Italy’s finest musicial talents, Davide Monti and Pietro Roffi, and ARIA award-winner, Joseph Tawadros.
Monti and Roffi, the Two Mad Italians, are returning to the festival due to popular demand. This time they will perform as a duo as well as separately.
Four-time ARIA Award winner Tawadros returns to Australia and makes a stop in at the festival to present his original work The Bluebird, the Mystic and the Fool.

Bendigo MS Walk
Take a fundraising walk around Lake Weeroona this weekend, to help raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
The walk costs $5 to participate and all proceeds go to MS Limited.
Come together with community members, enjoy a stroll and lunch at the BBQ provided.

When: Saturday, June 2, 11am start.
Bendigo Leisurefest Roadshow
This roadshow has not only been running across Australia for more than 10 years but has absolutely everything related to outdoors.
If you need information about caravans, campers, boats, camping accessories, 4WD's then leisurefest is for you.
There are exhibitions, latest products and various demonstrations. The weekend also features adult entertainment such as local food and wine tastings, DIY demonstrations and Australian Fishing Shows, along with children’s entertainment, jumping castles, giant slides, animal farms and much more.
Where: Bendigo Showgrounds, Holmes Road, Bendigo.
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 2 – 3, 10am – 5pm.
Tourist Market
With winter upon us, some of us might need warmer woolies to get us through the colder months.
Head along to this Sunday market and have a look at the different stalls of great gifts and produce.
The market includes crafts, clothing, bric-a-brac, signs, vinyl records, memorabilia and more.

Warming up for Winter
Put on your dancing shoes, enjoy great company and warm up this winter with social dancing in a heated hall.
The friendly folks at Greater Bendigo Danceland will welcome you to their weekly dances with delicious homemade suppers, lucky door and raffles.

Winter Gala Dance
Head along to the annual winter gala dance and enjoy great music by Family Rhythm dance band.
The evening also features a good program, a tasty home cooked supper and raffle and prizes.
