Kate Ross rode to an impressive victory in Sunday’s Bendigo Mountain Bike Club Women’s Challenge in Spring Gully.

Ross completed 10 laps of the testing circuit in a time of 3:11.50.
Her closest rival in the solo division were Maria Plyashechko and Madi Russell, who were a lap down.
The LMBC Social Club Reunion team won the pairs event ahead of Scrambled Legs.
Now in its third year, the Women’s Challenge continues to grow into one of the club’s biggest events of the year.
Women and girls of all ages and mountain bike riding experience participated, with the challenge attracting more than 70 individual and team entries.
