Police are considering a charge of careless driving following a crash at White Hills on Wednesday morning.
Leading Senior Constable Pat Allan said a 32-year-old Huntly woman was driving south when she was distracted by something on the side of the road.
She then ran into the rear of another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained only minor injuries, but an ambulance took them to hospital.
The first vehicle was towed from the scene.

Police and paramedics are at the scene of a two-car crash on Napier Street in White Hills.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Napier and Plumridge streets.
City-bound traffic is most affected.
A vehicle is being towed from the scene.
