Koroisau faces one-match ban for a retribution punch on the Storm's Curtis Scott from their fiery Melbourne clash and if he takes an early guilty plea will miss Friday's trip to Canberra.

The two were key in the Sea Eagles' 24-4 upset of the NRL champions, with Trbojevic outplaying Queensland State of Origin fullback Billy Slater.

In a dominant display, Trbojevic scored a try while he ran a game high 243 metres.

Trbojevic said he wasn't thinking about an Origin audition against Slater when he took to the field and was just happy to get a victory in Melbourne.

"I was pretty happy personally and pretty happy on a team perspective," Trbojevic said.

"To come down to Melbourne and get a win is always tough and to do it without them scoring a try is good."

Hoping to make his NSW debut and join his big brother Jake in the side for the opening match at the MCG on June 6, Trbojevic said Koroisau also deserved a call-up.

In the thick of the action, the No.9 topped Manly's tackle count.

"The way Api's playing, he's got to be a chance," Trbojevic said.

"He's playing 80 minutes for us in the middle and never puts a foot wrong in defence.

"The way he attacks and the deception he's got, he's been so good for us the last couple of years so he's got to be in the mix."

Koroisau also looked like he'd relish the Origin cauldron, winding up the Melbourne crowd by clapping and giving the thumbs up as he walked to the sheds when he was sin-binned in the second half.

The result was the first time the Sea Eagles had banked successive wins this season after five successive losses.

Trbojevic said he felt like the team was finally clicking.

"One hundred per cent - everyone's in the right position with the right plays and we're all working together really well," he said.
