The Braves women notched their seventh-straight victory with an 80-53 triumph against the SEABL’s young guns at Bendigo Stadium.
They were again led by their star Nadeen Payne, who contributed a game-high 24-points, nine rebounds, two assists and three-steals.
The Braves women asserted their dominance early in the contest and led 25-13 at quarter time.
They were able to extend that lead by nine points at half time and a further six points at three quarter time, before outscoring the COE 14-12 in the final term to cap a convincing performance.
The Braves women were without veteran Gabe Richards, but got strong contributions across the board.
Point guard Kelly Wilson continued to rack up the assists with another 13 on top of her 10-points and four steals, while Ash Karaitiana contributed 14 points and six rebounds.
Young guard Kara Tessari added 14 points, while Jessica Mangan was impressive off the bench with four points and four rebounds.
The Braves women head to Melbourne on Sunday for a clash against the 5-3 Dandenong Rangers.
