Police say road blocks will remain in place for quite a few hours after a collision at a bridge on Webb Road, near Rochester.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said that at the time of the crash a burn-off was happening and there was low visibility.
They said a car and truck collided at the site.
Two other cars and two other trucks were involved as a result of the collision.
The three truck drivers were injured, though their lives were not threatened, the spokesperson said.
The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured.
Road blocks along Webb Street between the Murdoch Road intersection and the Echuca-Nanneella Road intersection would remain in place for some time.

A Country Fire Authority spokesperson says one State Emergency Service and four CFA appliances were called to the incident.
The spokesperson said a car was on fire but had been extinguished.
Crews were now cleaning up.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said there had been a multi-vehicle collision involving two trucks and a car.
Paramedics were on scene assessing the situation but the spokesperson said no obvious major injuries had been reported.

VicRoads has warned people to expect delays on the Kyabram-Rochester Road near Quarry Road due to a multi-vehicle collision at Nanneella.
It warns emergency services could close the road.
VicRoads recommends people avoid the area if they can.

There has been a request for assistance.
The incident is not under control.
Five vehicles are responding to the incident, which is listed as “rescue road trap fire” on on the Vic Emergency website.
