The Bulls improved their record to 3-0 and percentage to 236.3 with the 83-point hiding of the Navies.
The Bulls won 23.14 (152) to 10.9 (69) at Charlton, kicking the highest score of the season so far as they kept the Navies winless.
The damaging forward duo of Stephen Paulke (six) and Nathan Gordon (five) combined for 11 goals for the Bulls, whose best was ruckman and coach Lochlan Sirrett.
Recruit Ryan Wellington kicked six of Charlton’s 10 goals to be the standout player for the Navies.
SEA LAKE NANDALY TIGERS V WEDDERBURN
Wedderburn won its first game of the season, while Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers’ struggles continued.
In a low-scoring contest where just 15 goals were kicked, the Redbacks had the better of the second half to win 8.14 (62) to 7.6 (48).
Playing at home, the Tigers started well, kicking three of the first four goals inside the opening 20 minutes, but they only managed four more for the rest of the contest.
The win was Wedderburn’s first over Sea Lake Nandaly since the Tigers joined the competition in 2016.
Coach Danny Benaim and Marc Reiffel kicked three goals apiece for the Redbacks, with the pair both among their top players.
Tom Summerhayes and Luke Martin battled hard for the Tigers, who had Nathan Wight kick three goals.
BOORT V ST ARNAUD
The much-improved St Arnaud’s flying start to the season continued.
Last year’s wooden-spooner that won just one game in 2017 is now 3-0 after toppling Boort by 18 points, 17.11 (113) to 13.17 (95).
Coach James McNamee again starred for the Saints, who had a spread of 10 goalkickers, led by David Hutchinson’s five.
Boort’s Rohan Nolan followed up his nine goals last week with another five, while Keiren Wilson was also prominent for the Magpies.
DONALD V WYCHEPROOF-NARRAPORT
Ricky Allan’s five goals helped Wycheproof-Narraport to a 10-point away victory over Donald.
The reigning premier Demons led at every change in prevailing 9.13 (67) to 8.9 (57) to continue their winning start to the season.
As well as Allan’s five goals for the Demons, the Royals also had Seamus Young bag five down the other end.
Allan and midfielders George Turner and Joel Turner led the best players for the Demons, while the Royals were well served by Nathan Witherow, Tom Bell and Ben Waite.
