THE top order in the Northern Rivers Team of the Year for the 2017-18 season has been dominated by players from Bendigo-based competitions.
The team of 12 features Sandhurst premiership player Nayana Palamandadige, West Bendigo’s Travis O’Connell, Bendigo’s BDCA Cricketer of the Year Kyle Humphrys and Eaglehawk’s Jeremy Brown filling batting slots.
The Northern Rivers team is being captained by Ashley Quinn, who was one of five players from the Murray Valley association selected.

9 – Anthony Bradley (Murray Valley) – 38 wickets (spinner)
10 – Ashley Quinn (c) (Murray Valley) – 43 wickets
11 – Shane Healey (Murray Valley) – 36 wickets
