Bendigo Winegrowers Association president Wes Vine said the festival was about more than just wine.
“The event will have something for everyone – Bendigo region wine, regional street foodies offering a range of cuisines, and live music from The Northern Folk and Erica Hawkey,” Mr Vine said.
“We encourage people to bring their picnic rug and find a spot on the grass to enjoy the wines and the relaxing park setting of Rosalind Park.”
The festival will have pop-up wine and food masterclasses held by owner of Rocks on Rosalind Finn Vedelsby.
There will be 18 wineries from throughout the region at the festival showcasing their best wines.
In addition there will be over 60 wines to taste, covering a range of varieties which includes full-bodied reds, crisp whites, sweet sparkling and rosé.
The weather forecast for Saturday is a high of 21 degrees and mostly sunny.
Tickets start from $30 and can be purchased at the entry gate or can also be pre-booked at www.bendigotourism.com.
The festival in Rosalind Park commences at 11am and will conclude at 4pm.
