Bulldogs players in all grades of netball and football have started the LVFNL season wearing new uniforms.
The new playing strips have proved somewhat of a lucky charm, with both Pyramid Hill’s top netball and football sides both undefeated after two rounds.
The Bulldogs 17-and-under and 15-and-under netballers and under-18 footballers are similarly undefeated.
It was the premiership success of their under-18 footballers last season that provided the impetus for the uniform change.
“Our netball dresses were out dated and required a new look and last year our under-18s footballers were premiers and our club decided to let all team members keep their premiership jumpers,” said Bulldogs netball operations manager and board member Kim Lister.
“At board level we decided this would be the time to update all uniforms.
“We worked hard in obtaining sponsors who are locked in for three years.
“Elders Insurance and BJ Building now have their logos on all netball and football uniforms along with local sponsor Millers Ag on the football game day shorts.”
The Bulldogs continue their season against Marong this Saturday at Malone Park.
