Martin fronted the BFNL tribunal on Sunday night after being reported for engaging in rough conduct against Golden Square’s Braydon Welsh in the round one game at the QEO on April 14.
The case was held over to Sunday night because Martin had work commitments interstate last week.
The tribunal panel found Martin guilty of the charge and suspended him for one match. Martin, the two time- Michelsen Medal winner, had never been previously suspended in his BFNL career.
His absence will leave Taylor Strachan to take on the number one ruck duties against Kangaroo Flat big man Nick Lang.

Eaglehawk v Gisborne 2.20pm
Sandhurst v Kangaroo Flat 5.30pm
Castlemaine v Golden Square 5.30pm
Kyneton v Strathfieldsaye 5.30pm
