The Bulldogs thrashed Bears Lagoon-Serpentine 62-19, while Maiden Gully YCW Eagles defeated Marong 54-29.
Pyramid Hill’s strong defence has been the highlight of their start to the season.
In the first two rounds, the Bulldogs have only conceded 26 and 19 goals respectively.
The Eagles, who have played two of the bottom teams so far this season, will get a better indication of where they sit in the A-grade pecking order when they take on Mitiamo next Saturday.
In the final game of the round, Bridgewater defeated Inglewood to take a 2-0 record into next week’s bye.
