Emergency services were called to Wills Street, near the intersection of Edward Street, about 3.30pm today.
Senior Constable Dale Andrews, of Bendigo Highway Patrol, said a black Holden Commodore sedan was travelling north along Wills Street, approaching the intersection with Edward Street, when a blue Toyota Corolla attempted to turn right into Edward Street.
He said the Corolla failed to give way to the Commodore, causing the two vehicles to collide.
“Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and will be towed,” Senior Constable Andrews said.
He said the crash was a reminder for motorists to take another look before turning into an intersection.
The driver of the Corolla sustained ‘a bit of shock’.
No persons involved in the crash were otherwise believed to have been injured.
Wills Street was closed from the intersection of Edward Street to the intersection of Mitchell Street as emergency services responded.
