The Bears were defeated by 35 points by the Eagles at home last week and now face the challenging away trip to Pyramid Hill on Saturday.

“The big focus for us this week has been accountability around the contest. We got smashed in the contest last week, so we’ve got to get much better at that,” Gadsden said on Friday.
“And our disposal efficiency was really poor as well last week. The conditions didn’t help, but we butchered the ball too much.

“It was a poor day for us… the guys just didn’t turn up to play and YCW showed they were much hungrier at the footy than we were.”
While the Bears were disappointing first-up, Pyramid Hill gave itself a major dose of early-season confidence when it upset flag favourite Newbridge by nine points.
“We know we are going up to Pyramid Hill as underdogs given how well they play at home and it’s going to be a big ask for us to try to roll them up there,” Gadsden said.
“Hopefully, the boys come with the right mindset this time and give a much better account of themselves.
“If they do that and we get ourselves in the contest then we are going to give ourselves a chance.”
The trio of Kalem Paxton, Jed Bish and Hugh Calder are inclusions into the team for the Bears.
