The Pioneers (1-4) have lost their past four games heading into Sunday’s match at Golden Square against the Oakleigh Chargers (1-4) from 2pm.
“The reality is we simply need to get more reward for effort... in all games bar one we cannot question our effort,” McCormick said.
“Over the past couple of games have had plenty of ball and forward entries, but need to get better bang for our buck. We have worked on this area since our last game and will look at some variations in positions that will, hopefully, hold us in good stead.”
