BSL has inked a deal with long-time Bendigo Spirit major sponsor Bendigo Toyota as its major vehicle sponsor.
In an arrangement similar to that has existed with the Spirit since 2007, Bendigo Braves imports Jeremy Kendle and Ray Turner will be the will be the first to benefit from the new deal, driving the sign-written BSL Toyota’s during their SEABL duties with the Braves.
This week’s announcement comes ahead of the Braves men and women’s home season-opener against Hobart Chargers on April 21 and the official opening of the expanded Bendigo Stadium on May 25 to 27.
Bendigo Toyota general manager Andrew Holland said the partnership made good sense.
“We saw this as a natural extension of our partnership with the Bendigo Spirit, which has been in place since the club formed in 2007,” he said.
“Impressive works have taken place at the stadium that will certainly wow the Bendigo community when it opens.”
BSL chief executive officer Nathan O’Neill said he was delighted to have Bendigo Toyota as BSL’s first ever vehicle partner.
“Bendigo Toyota, like us, is committed to supporting the local community and promoting opportunities for active lifestyles,” he said.
“This partnership will see Bendigo Toyota happily supporting BSL with vehicles to fully endorse Bendigo Stadium.
“Bendigo Toyota continues their support for local sport, building on their real commitment to, and passion for, basketball.”
