With 634 runs and 29 wickets in his first home and away season with the Goers, Humphrys is a hot favourite for Bendigo cricket's most prestigious individual award.
His current team-mate Mark Ryan was the last Bendigo player to win the award in 2005-06.
Humphrys should poll three lots of three votes for his three centuries and is in strong contention to poll votes in rounds three, four, five, six and 13.
Humphrys biggest threats will be Sandhurst import Nayana Palamandadige, reigning champion Cam Taylor and his Strathdale team-mate Sam Johnston, Kangaroo Flat’s Brent Hamblin, Strathfieldsaye's Ben Devanny and White Hills' skipper Mitch Winter-Irving.
Palamandadige took the competition by storm with his aggressive batting at the top of the order.
The Sri Lankan made three centuries and two half-centuries in the home and away season and was polished with the gloves behind the stumps.
Unlike Humprhys, Palamandadige will have plenty of team-mates challenging him for votes.
Taylor's 37 wicket season was the best in the competition, while Johnston (357 runs and 25 wickets) had a great all-round season.
Hamblin had arguably his best season at first XI level taking 28 wickets and making 299 runs.
Devanny and Winter-Irving once again had good seasons, but a lack of success by their respective clubs makes it hard for them to win.
Eaglehawk’s Jeremy Brown (595 runs with two centuries) and Golden Square’s Scott Trollope (251 runs and 21 wickets) will poll strongly as well.
Bendigo Addy tipsters select: Adam Bourke – 1. Kyle Humphrys, 2. Nayana Palamandadige, 3. Sam Johnston. Luke West – 1. Kyle Humphrys, 2. Nayana Palamandadige, 3. Cam Taylor.
