A week after they lost to the Murray Bushrangers by 40 points, the Pioneers were defeated 6.10 (46) to 2.1 (13) at MARS Stadium.
Megan Williamson and Jemma Finning led the best for the Pioneers, who were held to just one behind after half-time.
