The Bloods will play the first of their three practice matches next Saturday when they travel to Melbourne to play Balwyn in the annual Shaun Bergin Memorial Game.

The Bloods are one of only three BFNL clubs that will play three practice matches, the others being Golden Square and Kyneton.

The BFNL practice match schedule includes Strathfieldsaye playing a game at home on Good Friday against Rochester, while Castlemaine (v North Bendigo) and Kangaroo Flat (v Leitchville-Gunbower) will both have hit-outs against last year’s Heathcote District league grand finalists.

The 2018 BFNL season is six weeks away from starting on Saturday, April 14, with the opening round to include the grand final rematch between Strathfieldsaye and Eaglehawk.
