Power has been restored to affected properties, according to powercor.com.au.

People have reported the power has returned to some properties in Flora Hill, Kennington, East Bendigo and Strathfieldsaye, and to Bendigo Marketplace.
But that’s not the case for everyone.

THOUSANDS of people across the region are experiencing a blackout.
A Powercor spokeswoman said 15,490 customers were affected.
She said Powercor were investigating the issue, but were unsure what caused the fault.
The outage occurred just before 3pm on Wednesday.
Among the areas affected are Bendigo, East Bendigo, Axedale, Eppalock, Emu Creek, Flora Hill, Heathcote, Junortoun, Longlea, Kennington, Quarry Hill, Strathdale, Strathfieldsaye and Taradale.
The fault location is listed on the Powercor website as Gladstone Street in Quarry Hill.
The website estimates restoration at 3.30pm.
Traffic lights are out at the intersection of Myers and Williamson streets, and Chapel and Hargreaves streets.
They are working at the intersection of Napier and Nolan streets.
